The Caldari are the thing that I haven't seen before in other games. Gallente is similar to Earth and the Council in Mass Effect, Minmatar's "trust in the rust" is similar to the Bogrils in Earth and Beyond, and Amarr are basically Space Marines with Bibles. With the exception of the Gallente which I find to have very basic backgrounds ('last democracy'), the races of EVE have incredibly fascinating ideals. I just like the idea of Caldari a little bit more.

Smallest Navy but it's sole principal is "being able to annihilate any other fleet", keeping everything with the best technology to gain the biggest advantage, a set of freedoms and rights that are twisted enough to be really interesting but grounded enough not to be totally unrelatable, and a political system that I just find to be the most interesting overall.

Who wouldn't want to be a crusading knight travelling across the galaxy bring mankind together, fighting for a much greater ideal and destiny of an entire people. Wearing badass heavily armoured golden battle armour.... chanting holy litanies of purgation and zeal..... anyone say SPACEMARINE?! You do know space marines are the epitome of the Crusading religious soldier right....? Also they say that in the lore the Caldari are a very strong Navy....however I believe its also stated historically the Amarr have never deployed their full strength of military forces against a foe....ever.
